I wrote this almost unconsciously. When I was just kind of doodling in my writing notebooks, I found myself writing about Cyndi and her father and each time they were living the moment between moments, trying to find the significance of the everyday. It was until three years in that I realized I’d been constructing their lives in my own moments between writing projects.
